Two Banner University Medical Center - Tucson dieticians will teach you the how-tos of reading a food label and easy adjustments you can make in your diet to improve your health.

Dr. Namit Rohant, clinical assistant professor at University of Arizona College Medicine - Tucson and Sarver Heart Center, is an Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiologist at Banner - University Medical Center Tucson. He returns to Tucson, where he previously completed internal medicine residency at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson. After his residency, Dr. Rohant went on to complete a geriatric medicine fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and a cardiovascular diseases fellowship at the University of South Carolina. His training culminated with a fellowship in advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF).
He is board certified in cardiovascular disease, adult echocardiography, geriatric medicine and internal medicine.

 

 

 

 

Ke (Claire) Luo, MS, RD joined the transplant team at Banner University Medical Center - Tucson as an Advanced Heart Failure and Post-Transplant Dietitian. Prior to this, she worked at City of Hope Cancer Center in Los Angeles helping patients going through bone marrow transplant to improve their diet quality during their challenging therapies.
Her nutrition philosophy is to help patients develop a healthy, sustainable relationship with food. Diet is a cornerstone of health, and she aims to help patients make small changes one small step at a time so that healthy habits last a lifetime. In her free time, she loves snowboarding, skiing, cycling, and cooking noodle dishes.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Kinsey Torbert, RD, CCTD is a certified clinical transplant dietitian and has been working with solid organ transplant at Banner University Medical Center - Tucson since 2019.
She's passionate about food nutrition and aims to improve the health and wellbeing of her patients through every day foods. In her spare time, you’ll find her ballroom dancing and hiking around Tucson.
