Brandon T. Larsen, MD, PhD, is an assistant professor of pathology at the University of Arizona. Dr. Larsen is certified in anatomic pathology by the American Board of Pathology and has received Bronze Level Certification from the Mayo Clinic Quality Academy. His clinical practice interests include cardiovascular, pulmonary, transplantation, and bone and soft tissue pathology, as well as general surgical and autopsy pathology.

Prior to joining the Department of Pathology at the University of Arizona, Dr. Larsen was a research collaborator within the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology for the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona, as well as an Assistant Professor of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology for the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Larsen has lectured nationally and internationally on a broad range of clinical and basic research topics in both cardiovascular and pulmonary pathology, including surgical pathology of cardiovascular and pulmonary medical diseases, cardiac and pulmonary neoplasia, vascular physiology, and endothelial biology.
