POSTPONED- Discover BIO5 Open House

POSTPONEMENT
Given the unknown variables, potential health implications, and public concerns related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we have decided to postpone our Discover BIO5 event originally scheduled for 4/1. We look forward to rescheduling, most likely in early fall, and hope that you will agree to participate/attend again at that point in time.

American Medical Women’s Association (AMWA) Medical Student Panel for Pre-Meds Dinner

The newly formed pre-medical American Medical Women's Association (AMWA) branch at the University of Arizona has asked for an opportunity to have a Q&A session with medical students. They will be focused on asking questions such as how you got to medical school, how you overcame challenges, and what advice you may have for them. This is a great way to form a mentoring relationship with pre-medical students and assist them on their way to becoming a physician.

BIO5 Research to Innovation Showcase

Learn more about some of the exciting solutions UA colleagues and mentors are working on to solve societal problems reflecting the broad range of BIO5’s interdisciplinary research scope, including projects in progress.

With a goal of promoting possible collaborations, this event is open to faculty, students, and staff across the UA community and will showcase the novel research supported and cultivated by the BIO5 Institute and performed by BIO5 faculty members and trainees.
