Dr. Craig Weinkauf, a member of the UArizona Sarver Heart Center, will present "Vascular Considerations for Brain Health" at the Voyager Lecture Series in cooperation with Voyager RV Resort in Vail, AZ. The lecture series is free and open to everyone. Each lecture includes time for questions and answers. No reservation is required!

In honor of LGBTQIA+ History Month, MedPride and the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion have invited Dr. Nelson Sanchez from the Weill-Cornell School of Medicine to join us virtually to present his interactive lecture entitled "Case-Based Review of LGBTQ-Inclusive Climate Initiatives."

Pain and Your Brain: How Do Mind-Body Techniques Affect the Central Mechanisms of Pain?

Join us as UArizona's Dr. Ann Marie Chiasson discusses the impact of pain on the brain. She will provide an overview of pain transmission, pain circuitry, and changes in the structure and functioning of the brain. She will highlight some of the physical changes that can be seen via imaging of the brain such as MRI for those experiencing chronic pain.
