Dr. Acharya is a practicing cardiologist with Banner – University Medical Center Tucson and is a member of the American Heart Association, the American College of Cardiology, the Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance and the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography. He is serving a second term on the American Heart Association’s Diabetes Committee of the Council on Lifestyle and Cardiometabolic Health.
