Personalized Medicine in Heart Transplantation
Dr. Kiran Khush is an Associate Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine at the Stanford University School of Medicine. She originally graduated with an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from Stanford University. She then completed her medical training at Harvard University and medical residency at the University of California at San Francisco, followed by general cardiology training and subspecialty training in advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology at UCSF. She then joined the faculty at UCSF where she earned a Masters’ Degree in Clinical Research. Dr. Khush moved back to Stanford in 2008 upon joining the faculty in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine, where she focuses on clinical and translational research in the field of heart transplantation.
