Controversies in the Diagnosis and Management of Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy

Jaine Savla, MD
Cardiovascular Disease Fellow at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center

Dr. Jainy Savla is currently completing her Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. She is an Arizona native and was born and raised in Phoenix. After graduating from Chaparral High School, she attended the 7-year combined BA/MD at Boston University. During her time there, she extended her medical school studies to include a year of research at Boston Children’s Hospital under the mentorship of Bernhard Kuhn. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of California San Diego before moving to Dallas, Texas. For the last 2 years, Dr. Savla has been completing a research fellowship under the mentorship of Dr. Hesham Sadek. During her fellowship, she also spent time in the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Clinic at UT Southwestern which solidified her clinic interest in this disease.
