Stroke is the leading cause of disability and the fifth leading cause of death in the United States. Mohammed El-Ghanem, MD, will provide an overview of what stroke is, types, causes and risk factors. He also will review the steps to spot a stroke and evolving treatment options to reverse stroke symptoms.
