UA Sarver Heart Center Presents ‘Heart of Women’s Health’ Luncheon, Nov. 3

The heart of women's health lies deep within the chest. Heart disease does not discriminate - 1 in 3 women will die from heart disease this year in the United States.

Learn why women need to go beyond the "bikini" view of women's health – beyond the focus on the breasts and reproductive organs – at The Heart of Women’s Health Luncheon, presented by the University of Arizona Sarver Heart Center, on Friday, Nov. 3, at Skyline Country Club, 5200 E. St. Andrews Drive, Tucson. Doors open at 11 a.m.; lunch begins at 11:30 a.m. and concludes at 1 p.m. The event is open to the public.

  • Wanda F. Moore, chair , UA Sarver Heart Center Community Coalition for Heart Health Education, who required bypass surgery despite her healthy, active lifestyle
  • McKenzie Meza, high school senior living with a congenital heart condition
