Raj Janardhanan, MD, has been promoted to professor of medicine and medical imaging. Dr. Janardhanan is medical director of non-invasive cardiac imaging and echocardiography at Banner – University Medical Center Tucson. Board certified in nuclear cardiology, cardiovascular disease and internal medicine, Dr. Janardhanan has advanced training and certification in echocardiography, 3D transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), cardiac computed tomography (CT) scans and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (CMR).
Kwan S. Lee, MD, associate professor of medicine, has been promoted to associate chief of cardiology. He also is associate program director of the Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program and director of the Cardiology Clinic and the Catheterization Laboratory at Banner - University Medical Center South, where he has been heavily involved in the growth of cardiovascular services. Dr. Lee is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, Echocardiography, Interventional Cardiology and Endovascular Medicine.
Kapil Lotun, MD, has been promoted to professor of medicine. He is director of the Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Program, as well as interventional cardiology, structural heart disease and vascular medicine within the Division of Cardiology. He is also the medical director for the Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) Program and director of the catheterization laboratory at Banner - University Medical Center Tucson. Dr. Lotun is a fellow of American College of Cardiology, the Society of Vascular Medicine and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions. He is board certified in internal medicine, endovascular medicine, vascular medicine, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, cardiology and interventional cardiology.
