Many thanks to Breakthru Beverage Arizona for generously supporting the University of Arizona Sarver Heart once again with proceeds from their annual charity golf classic. Beginning in 1993, the company named the Sarver Heart Center as a beneficiary of their efforts to honor Jim Shocklee, a heart transplant patient and former employee. From a significant pledge to the Jack G. Copeland, MD, Endowed Chair in Cardiothoracic Surgery to investigator awards made to Sarver Heart Center members on the Phoenix campus, Breakthru Beverage (formerly known as Alliance Beverage) has made a tremendous impact on the Sarver Heart Center.
