Thank you to Walmart for a community grant to support the community outreach mission of the UArizona Sarver Heart Center Community Coalition for Heart Health Education Minority Outreach Program. During the past 10 years, the CCHHE has volunteered more than 500,000 hours and trained more than 6,000 people about chest-compression-only CPR and heart health.
Wanda Moore, chair of the program, collaborated with Angela Josiah, PharmD, a pharmacy manager with Walmart, to obtain the community grant from Walmart. Both women are members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.
