Dr. Alane Dy is a translational scientist whose research focuses on cardiopulmonary health outcomes, with an emphasis on shared mechanisms underlying chronic respiratory diseases and cardiovascular risk. She brings her depth of experience in epidemiology, biostatistics and experimental biology to bridge bench science with population health.
As Director of the Sarver Heart Center Data Science Unit, Dr. Dy leads the development of scalable infrastructure to support collaborative, secure and impactful data use. She oversees the application of advanced analytics across patient- and population-level studies to inform clinical care and improve outcomes. In addition, Dr. Dy actively mentors trainees and serves in leadership roles through the American Thoracic Society.
