Joel Holland, MD, Staff Physician, Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, Cleveland Clinic Foundation, has worked with Cleveland Clinic structural interventional cardiologists to apply echocardiography to optimize strategies and outcomes with transcatheter aortic valve replacement.
Dr. Christopher DeSouza is a professor in the Department of Integrative Physiology and Medicine (cardiology) at the University of Colorado. He directs the Integrative Vascular Biology Laboratory and is co-director of the Clinical and Translational Research Center at the University of Colorado Boulder. The research mission of Dr. DeSouza’s laboratory is to study the effects of cardiovascular and metabolic risk factors and disease on vascular endothelial cell function. Dr. DeSouza has been continuously funded by the National Institutes of Health since 1995.
