‘Tour of the Heart: How Advances in Imaging Improve Diagnostics and Guide Treatments’ – Feb. 15 in Green Valley

Raj Janardhanan, MD, is the next speaker in the University of Arizona Sarver Heart Center Green Valley Lecture Series, Thursday, Feb. 15, at 10 a.m. An associate professor of medicine and medical imaging at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson, he will discuss Tour of the Heart: How Advances in Imaging Improve Diagnostics and Guide Treatments,” covering diagnostic tools, such as 3-D echocardiography, coronary CT scans, cardiac MRIs and other imaging advances that provide cardiologists with powerful images of the heart that help identify heart disorders and enable the patient-care team to plan the best course of treatment.

The lecture series is free and open to the public, and includes time for questions and answers.

The UA Sarver Heart Center Green Valley Lecture Series is offered in cooperation with Green Valley Recreation, Inc. The lecture will be at Canoa Hills Social Center, 3660 S. Camino del Sol, Green Valley. No reservation is required; refreshments are provided.
